We are pleased to announce that Brian McNiece is selling his beef at the Community Center! There is a freezer containing Bonvue farm meat in the kitchen. Please pay only with checks, and make a note of your purchases in the provided farm book. We currently have hot and sweet italian beef sausage, steaks, ground beef and roasting joints.
Saturday we’re open 9am – 12, with cheese and chive scones, dairy-free carrot cake and lemon butter cookies.
On Tuesday, the weekly Spanish conversation group will meet from 1 – 2pm. Strong Living will be meeting at 4pm.
The Tuesday movie will be ‘The African Queen’ (1951), starring Katharine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart. Free but we’d very much appreciate a donation, please.
We’ll be open 10am – 5pm on Wednesday, with a delicious vegan minestrone-style chickpea soup, homemade bread, scones, and cookies. The knitting and rug-hooking group meets 2 – 4pm.
There’s a special meeting of the Marlboro Volunteer Fire Company at 6.30pm on Wednesday. They need at least thirty Marlboro voters to vote on their updated bylaws. It’ll be a short meeting so please come along to help out the people who do such great volunteer work in town.
