Use of the kitchen is included in a rental. We are a member-run organization and everyone who uses our space is a member. You may provide food for your event and suggest a donation, but this is not a licensed commercial kitchen.
Guidelines for Renting and Using the Marlboro Community Center
There will be a requested rental amount of $40 for the first hour, and $15/hour for subsequent hours for private functions. A deposit of $100 will be requested at the time of booking, returnable within three days of the event.
For money-making events or classes, we request a donation of 10% takings for the event.
Groups, classes and events which are free and open to the general public have no suggested donation amount, but will be asked to make a donation to the Community Center if possible.
Guests are asked to not cross the fence onto our neighbor’s land without permission.
If alcohol is to be served at an event, a copy of the license must be provided at time of booking.
No smoking in the building.
Leave the space in a clean and welcoming condition.
