Food Services

While the cafe is closed, we are still doing what we can to provide food to individuals during this time of need.

Here are some of the services we are currently providing.

MCC Food To-Go

The Center has a variety of prepared meals, donated food, and grocery items available for town residents each week. Below is our current schedule and a list of the items available.
Coordinator John Marinelli will be at the Center during these times, however the space is not open to the public. We are trying to switch to only taking call/email orders to remove person-person interaction. Please call or email us ahead of time and we will place your orders in coolers outside for you to pick up. There will be money deposits set up by the cooler for Bonvue Farm and for the Center.

Call Marlboro Cares at 258-3030
For any resident who needs or wants assistance with grocery pick up.
Marlboro Cares in collaboration with the Marlboro Community Center will pick up your paid order at either the Brattleboro Food Coop or Market 32 (formerly Price Chopper). To keep our volunteers healthy, the following are our protocols for grocery pick up:
1. Groceries will be picked up on Mondays around 11:30am. Another trip on a
different day will be added if the demand is great.
2. Your groceries must be paid for before being picked up.
3. The grocery order will be brought to the community center, from where
Marlboro Cares volunteers will deliver the food to outside your door.
4. You will be called when the delivery has been made.
5. To obtain this service, you MUST call Marlboro Cares at 258-3030 to let us
know you would like your order picked up and delivered.
6. You should put in your order and pay for it on Monday and an hour before
pick up time.
7. We request that you purchase only small orders of essential items.

The Community Center offers a general meeting and hang-out space to the public
with hot drinks, cakes and homemade soup.
